In tune with this company focus, Timetech opened its own R&D block and introduced latest molecules to keep pace with the changing scenario. "In this connection, we got the ISO 9002 certification," said G N Raju, managing director of Timetech.

Raju said that there are many companies developing drugs and formulations in Andhra Pradesh, but the company's timed-release formulations help reduce the dosages to the patients, thereby reducing the cost. Established in 1996, the company has been pioneering new drug delivery systems. Its products comprise of various pharmaceutical formulations like cardio protective drugs, Anti diabetes, psychiatric drugs, and anti - allergics, anti - ulcerants, anti - bacterials and antibiotics. The company recently unveiled a 21,000 square feet facility.

"Products manufactured by us are well accepted in the domestic and international markets," said Raju.

According to him, competition in the pharmaceutical industry is going to be multi-fold. Companies with their own manufacturing facilities complying standards with innovation, will have a bright future. Companies with R&D will have an edge over the others. Keeping this in mind, Timetech is into R&D on a full-scale and its Novel Drug Delivery Systems will help the company to score over others in the industry.
